The site shop is ideal for those things that you have forgotten but for a major shop it is best to head for a supermarket where you will be able to purchase a full range of products. There are several supermarkets in the Hastings area so you can take your pick. Personally I would avoid the Tesco store at Bexhill due to its poor parking but that is only my choice and it is the nearest to the park.
Tesco Bexhill TN40 2JS (1.7 miles)
Turn right at the entrance to the park. Go down to the lights at the bottom of the hill and turn right. Follow the road up to a large round about. Take the first exit into the Retail Leisure Park (Tescos, Swimming Pool, McDonalds, KFC, PC World, B&Q etc.). The Tesco store is at the far end of the car park. This car park gets very busy and not very well laid out.
Asda St Leonards on Sea (2.0 miles)
Turn left at the entrance to the park. Follow the road over the railway bridge to a roundabout. At the roundabout take the third exit (Gillsmans Hill). At the end of the road turn left onto The Green and then keep left again onto Sedlescombe Road South. At the next set of traffic lights turn left onto B2159 Battle Road. The entrance to Asda is just on the left hand side.
Tesco Hastings Extra 24 hours TN38 9RB (2.3 miles)
Turn left at the entrance to the park. Follow the road over the railway bridge to the round about. Take the first exit. Take the first turning on the right into Church Wood Drive. The Tesco store can be found on the second left. It is about ½ – ¾ mile down Church Wood Drive.
Sainsbury’s Hastings TN37 7SQ (2.6 miles)
Turn left at the entrance to the park. Follow the road over the railway bridge to a round about. Take the second exit into Ironlatch Avenue. Follow this road as it changes to Blackman Avenue to the traffic lights at the cross roads. Go straight across the lights (Ashbrook Road which becomes Old Harrow Road) to a mini round about (Sedlescombe Road North A21). Take the first exit on the mini round about and go straight across the next mini round about. To get to the Sainsbury’s store turn left at the traffic lights.
Morrisons Hastings TN34 1RN (3.2 miles)
Turn right at the entrance to the park. Go to the bottom of the hill and turn left at the lights. Follow the A259 into Hastings. Take the second turning on the left after ‘The Carlisle’ pub. Follow the road round past the shopping centre. Go straight across the next set of lights (by M&S). You will see ‘Morrisons’ on the left hand side. The entrance to the store is just past their petrol station.
