Combe Haven Holiday park is on the South Coast of England and there are beaches all along the coast. Some of the beaches that would normally have life guards may not have them this season.
Nearest Beach – Bulverhythe
The nearest beach to the park is just at the bottom of the hill, turn left at the lights and then go under the railway bridge before turning right. You can park in the car park by the beach huts (free of charge). This is a pebble beach and it is not patrolled by life guards.
Nearest car park is Pelham Place or Rock-a-Nore. This is a life guard patrolled beach close to Hastings town centre. Hastings beach is a pebble beach with several drops in the stones. At low tide sand can be found. This beach can get very busy in the summer.
More pebble beaches are at Bexhill. On the way to Bexhill there is a small beach behind the Leisure Park. There is a Cafe by the beach and toilets by the Bathroom sales room. You can park in the small car park by the toilets and access the beach under the railway bridge. There are more beaches in Bexhill itself if you want to continue further along the A259.
The famous Camber Sands beach is just 30 minutes drive away from the park. This is a large sandy beach with sand dunes. There are cafes and shops by the car park. Camber, Nr Rye, Sussex, TN31 7RL. Take the A259 from the park towards Rye. Go round Rye and stay on the A259. Camber is sign posted from the main road. The beach is off a side road which ends helpfully at a big car park.
