Bodiam Castle

Bodiam castle is about 15 miles from the park.Traditional Bodiam Castle

One of the most famous and evocative castles in England, Bodiam Castle was built in 1385 as a defensive castle and as a home. The outside is virtually complete and there is enough of the inside remaining to give an impression of the castle life. There are spiral staircases and battlements to explore and wonderful views of the Rother Valley from the tops of the towers.

Bodiam Castle is owned and maintained by the National Trust. For full details on the castle including opening times, events and prices please visit their web site.
